ChinaGPS named BeiDou in Chinese, it has SMS system which can transmit the data of position to the control center by the way to send data directly from the device of mobile unit to Chinese satellite. So it can be used in a remote area where GSM signal does not cover. and most important thing is that the csot of data transmision is affordable. We apply it to the mobile in far sea, desert or forest and it can be used all over Asia and all over the world with the development of China GPS system later.
